I have 2 Pomeranian's and my oldest Princess is VERY VERY timid, I went through several vets, and decided to try Parkside, I had heard good things, so I made the call, and explained to the woman at the desk how important it was to me to find a good, caring Vet, she assured me Dr. Hoke would be just what I was looking for..so I took them to start their services...wow, I was totally taken by surprise, Dr. Hoke's kindness had Princess totally NOT nervous, she had her calmed down in no time and Princess took to her very well, to me that meant the world! she was not shaking or anything! During the whole examination Princess and Missy both were both at ease! The assistant as well was totally awesome! I left with a good feeling for the first time in 9 years! I also recommended Dr. Hoke to another friend of mine that had an applehead cha waa waa that needed a new Vet also. She was VERY pleased as I was. She has such a way with animals, loving and caring and kind! Actually Parkside is the whole package! from the phone, assistants, receptionists, to Dr. Hoke!

Shortly before I got to know Dr. Hoke, I had to have my long time companion of 13 yrs. put down. For me this was very traumatic, but Dr. Hoke stayed with me and comforted me til my Keikei went to sleep. (this was my first experience) Close to 1 month shy of 10 years, Sammy had been receiving an allergy shot, every month for a skin problem. His former vet told me he would be better off to be put down. I couldn't do that. He then retired and I had the pleasure to meet Dr. Hoke. She said the cure all Sammy was taking was just that. She immediately put him on different medication and now his skin problem is almost non existent. For the first time I had communication, assurance, and above all else Dr. Hoke made sure I knew she was there because she cared! I am so glad to finally have someone I can truly trust with the health of my remaining pet.
